Homer Swain, Sarahsville, Noble County, Ohio, late 19th-early 20th century. Mixed media drawing of a saddled paint standing near a rabbit. In a period frame. 6.75" high, 10" wide (overall). The Homer Swain noted on the back is probably Homer M. Swain (1860-1945), who lived his entire life in Center and Sarahsville. He married Orpha Maude Fogle (1869-1961) and had two children, including Brittie May and Homer Delbert. Provenance: the collection of the late Jo Louise Brown, Zoar, Ohio.
